Okay, in the episode One of the Guys (which i know aired a while ago) but they use the word "Cool" and Beaver even asks June if she knows what "Cool" means as though it's a kids slang word. Did the word just start to become popular then becuase it is never said before that! And i know that it's VERY popular now, but had it just been becomming during the show?

I'm not sure either, but I think the word 'Cool' was becoming more popular in the early 60s. I guess the writers had teenagers at home or something and noticed they were saying this new word all around the house and they tossed it into the Beaver mix. Just a guess though.

Well, Beaver had asked june if she knew what it meant like it was a new slang word that she probably didn't know, but i thought it was cute how she did know, which means she was a parent who DEFINATELY kept up with the times!
