To be honest...i think if they had a new host and ran it like the old show it would get just as much hate as the version they air now. I actually wouldn't mind Steve French or the guy that narrated early Disappeared episodes...but no one is going to compare to Robert Stack and anyone they pick would get roasted.

I think it is cool they are trying to get ideas from the public. it's kind of like what they used to do back in the day. maybe in a different format.

If he still has his voice, I would love to see Bill Kurtis host it. I never get tired of his voice.

The reason UM should have never come back is equatable to why ABBA refuses to reunite: remember it as it was, for it can never be recaptured in the same way.

I had a dream the other day that a bunch of previously unknown vintage UM segments were unearthed. It was glorious. Of course, I can't remember any details about the imaginary clips I was watching!
