When last we saw Marissa Gold (Sarah Steele) in the series finale of "The Good Fight", the Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart investigator was newly married to her Krav Maga instructor and moving on to a new job with Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) at a D.C.-based law firm.

But three years later, it seems Marissa has a whole new career — one that will reunite her with another key player from the Good Wife/Good Fight universe, Elsbeth Tascioni.



Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive first look at season 3 of CBS' "Elsbeth", starring Carrie Preston as the titular lawyer/tote bag enthusiast/NYPD-adjacent investigator.

In an upcoming season 3 episode titled "Poetic Justice," Elsbeth encounters Marissa — now a campaign manager for New York mayoral candidate Alec Bloom (Ivan Hernandez) — at a charity benefit.



“Sarah Steele was at the top of the list of actors from The Good Fight we wanted to have back," creators Robert and Michelle King tell EW in a statement.

"She can read a medical chart and make it funny. And Marissa Gold is one of our favorite characters, so it was a thrill when [Elsbeth showrunner] Jon Tolins wanted her back too."
