I was wondering what was at the beginning of "The Checkup" episode of Good Times!! When I watched it on TBS,they showed where Thelma told Florida that she got a part-time job and they seemed to have edited a lot out!! What I was wondering what was at the beginning of the unedited "The Checkup" episode and what they left out for syndication!!!

Ain't we lucky we got them!!!

Thanks to the "Good Times" first season DVD, this is what was left out:

Thelma was teaching J.J. how to do a dance called "The Freak-out", so he can impress this girl he's been seeing. Then the phone rings, and it's McDonald's calling Thelma saying that she got the job that she wanted. So to celebrate, they start dancing again. Florida walks in the door and that's where you start off at.
