Well...this is a last ditch effort to keep the show going on their part by adding Monica. I see that now. I caught the marathon weekend when it was on at the Charo episodes to the end then I missed several of the beggining ones and started up with the chico ones maybe a 1/3 way into them....so I saw these before and the Monica ones and it is hard to watch...you can see the end is near. I don't like Monica...she is just an added distraction for the missing Charo now. And yet still the missing Chico. They never explain where people go...or at least I don't remember...where's Charo? Where's Della? Talk about disfunctional.

The show should not have been continued without Freddie. Freddie "was" the show.

I woke up this morning due to a thunderstorm, and wouldn't you know it it was 4am, the time in which it airs for me. When I turned it on I had no idea who Monica was. I heard her say uncle ed just like raul did. Is she supposed to be his niece? Or did she end up there somehow like Raul? I see they still have that red van there. I don't know about that!!

I think it's unbelievable how much different
Chico looks in the beginning episodes compared to the end! I kept talking about him to some friends at work and they watched CATM and didn't even believe it was the same person!!!!! They're all avid F.P. jr. fans and at first they didn't believe he was their father either. I told them to keep watching and he'd win their heart too!!!!!!! |

Since I'm one of the few who watches the Chicoless episodes (I guess it tells the whole story to the end) Here's who she was. She was a runaway girl how moves in with Ed & Raul, I saw those episodes during the marathon & had forgot all about ehr. It was a last ditch effort to me. Trying to watch CATM now but all I get is a fuzzy pictue with no sound. Stupid Trees!
![]() I noticed Chicos style of dress changed somewhat too on the show. In the later episodes he's dressed much fancier than int he earlier episodes. In the first episode he's wearing a plain blue t-shirt & bellbottom jeans & a sued jacket with patches on it. Looks kinda patched up in some places. I got the impression they were trying to give him the look of the poor little orphan boy. When he does dress up he wears these cute liitle jackets made out of jean material with matching jean pants. Finally in the episode with Diana Canova you see him wear a 3 piece suit for the first time. In later episodes you see him dress up more like that. So I wondered did they have Chico dress up more later on to have him look more like the real Freddie or or was it to show that Chico had made more money working for Ed & could now afford more fancy suits etc? |

Tracy-Prinze, I agree with you 100%. The show should have ended when Freddie left us. I cannot watch them because I find myself "looking" for Chico, and that depresses me. Who wants to watch a comedy show to get depressed.
