Emmy Producers Promise a "Golden Girls" Tribute

The producers of the 77th Annual Emmy Awards on Thursday promised a "Golden Girls" tribute, reunions for "Grey’s Anatomy", "Gilmore Girls" and "Law & Order" and the recreation of old TV sets for Sunday’s telecast on CBS.

In honor of "The Golden Girls" 40th anniversary, Reba McEntire (and friends) will sing the iconic title song “Thank You for Being a Friend”.

The Primetime Emmys will air live coast to coast from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sept. 14.
