I don't know if it's just me in NYC but I have been noticing a lot more $2 bills coming around lately.

I got one in my change, accidentally, in one of the local bodega's near me. The year on it was 2017, which is pretty recent. In some of the bars I go to I see them in the tip jars and the bartenders tell me that a lot of people have been giving those.

I went to one of the banks that I use and the teller told me that people can request $2 bills and they are still printed. I had thought that they had stopped making them a while ago.

Always thought it was a novelty item and they just stopped printing them lol. Didn't know they still had them in circulation.
