Default I can't stand Elizabeth

She irks me like Dodie Douglas and Cindy Brady.

In the Search, she got everyone lost and almost killed.

Like the other two little snots I can't stand, they made her character act too babyish for too long.

Glad I got that off my chest.

Awww! I loved Elizabeth ! But pretty much in the earlier seasons , she was adorable. I agree they tried to keep her a little girl too long. But than she was the youngest, they would baby her .

With me it was Erin that was annoying. Little Miss Priss! She was the " Pretty Sister" and she let it be known!

My favorite after John Boy is Elizabeth. I liked Erin off and on. I liked Mary Ellen when she was a young tomboy but got bored with her after she grew up.

Agree! Particularly on Elizabeth in the early seasons.

I tend to agree that Judy Norton's character Mary Ellen became a bit bland later in the series.

I admit to crushing on Erin (Mary McDonough) slightly at times, not deeply and not for long periods. When I saw actress Greta Lind many years later, she reminded me of Erin/Mary somewhat. Here's Greta:

Looking sexy with her all-one-length hair!

These youngest or added kids really come in for some grief. In season 1 of Brady Bunch Cindy drove me bonkers. And they catered to her. She had a sniffle, call out the emergency squad lol. She lost her doll or maybe Bobby took her--they replaced her and she still whined.

You're not alone on Dodie--it seems she bugged a lot of people but I never had a problem with her. But that kid she took the bus downtown with--thank goodness shw was only on one episode!

Another one that came in for criticism was Sam on Diff'rent Strokes. Nobody could stand him yet he never bugged me either. Except when he tried to sing.
