Sergio Mendes And Brasil 66
I found the group Sergio Mendes And Brasil 66 and I was curious to know more about them? I know Sergio Mendes went on a solo career in the 80's and became even more famous for the power ballad Never Gonna Let You Go in 1982 that also became the anthem for Mr. Turkey commercials in the 90's. I heard Sergio Mendes And Brasil 66's cover of Fool On The Hill and it is excellent. Was that their first ever hit in the 60's? They were also known for the lovely ballad So Many Stars that was also covered by Natalie Cole in 2004. How did Sergio Mendes And Brasil 66 get it's start? I never knew the actual story before and my aunt used to have several records of this group as a teenager
