Talking Thanksgiving Day programs...

Pav (or anyone else...)

Are there any marathons of TV shows on Thanksgiving, or the weekend following? I know there is often a Walton's marathon on TNN, but what about any sitcoms?

Just curious... I can only watch football so long before the triptophan in the turkey kicks in and I fall asleep!

Nick@Nite is having a Thanksgiving Reunion week, on Thanksgiving night it's the Cosby Show reunion.
TV Land is having a Better Living Through Television marathon.
TNN is having a James Bond marathon.

I'll post more station info later.

Boy, they sure seem to be playing the Growing Pains movie alot. I guess cause it's around election day and all......

This is a dumb question, but do you think they'll play the Facs of Life reunion again? Since it's practically a Thanksgiving movie......lol

Well, isn't the Growing Pains movie somewhat Thanksgiving related as well. I haven't watched it in a long time, so I can't remember... And yeah, of course the FOL one is Thanksgiving related. They ARE playing the Growing Pains movie quite a lot, strange since they don't even air the actual show anymore, LOL.

Also, isn't Lifetime having an all day block of their sitcoms on Thanksgiving? GG, Designing Women, Mad About You, The Nanny.

Jim
I believe Morty has the Lifetime Thanksgiving schedule up on his site, but you have to scroll pretty far down to see it. It's just an all day block of Designing Women, The Nanny, Golden Girls and Mad About You, ex:

8:00am Designing Women
9:00am The Nanny
10:00am Golden Girls
11:00am Mad About You

and then for the rest of the day, it's basically just the same schedule (DW, Nanny, GG, MAY)

Well I knew the FOL reunion was Thanksgiving related, I was just wondering if they're gonna play it on the holiday, lol. But the Growing Pains movie had to do with Maggie running for senator of NY I think? I'm not sure about the state, but I know it's about Maggie and the upcoming election. I hated how that movie ended though. Really dumb cliffhanger.

Yeah, I've seen the GP movie, but I know they gather together because Maggie is running for senator, but I could've sworn it was around Thanksgiving time as well. Ah well, time to pull out the tape and watch again, LOL. So either way (reunion / Thanksgiving) I suppose it fits for that week.

And you're right, it was a really dumb cliffhanger.

Well since Election Day and Thanksgiving are both pretty close together, let's just say it was for Thanksgiving as well.
