For some reason today, I thought of an old segment I've only seen once. I remember some of the details but don't know if there was ever an update.
A recently divorced man abruptly quit his job. I believe there might have been some kind of altercation before he left. Shortly afterwards, he goes missing. His family said he'd been having car problems and might be suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning. I didn't know how to look this up because I don't recall the man's name or the state where he'd been living. Any ideas? |

That was a great segment.
Strange how there were a few segments from this remote part of the continent and they all rank among some of UM's best work. Patty Meehan, Dexter Stefonek, Don Smith...I'm sure I'm forgetting someone quite obvious. The desolation of that area definitely lent to the filming and eerie feelings. |
