Just rewatched this ep. I think it is one of the funniest ones from the first two seasons. Ken Osmond was outstanding in this, already showing Eddie's devious tendencies. The part where he gradually becomes aware that he feels sick was so well played. I love his line, referring to the movie "Voodoo Curse": "It was filmed in Haiti, Mrs. Cleaver. It's very educational." The confrontation with Ward and Mr. Haskell toward the end had a serious edge to it. Great episode all around.

Beaver was so engrossed in the movie, when Haskell poked him, he jumped a mile. As I recall that scene, anyway.

Really some great acting there, especially for kids.

Ward's line was actually delivered in a very playful way. He was commenting on the fact, if I remember, that June was forbidding the kids to see the voodoo movie.
