When my mom and I were listening to Pandora we found a rock group that my mom used to like called The Outfield and does anyone remember this group? My mother told me she used to dance to The Outfield's song Your Love while she would be getting ready for work and it was a cool song. Was The Outfield a huge 80's group or were they one-hit wonders. Because it seemed that Your Love was The Outfield's only well-known hit of the 80's. Did The Outfield have other hits too?

The Outfield were not a one hit wonder. "Your Love" was their biggest hit reaching #6 on the Billboard chart. They also had 4 other top 40 singles:

"All the Love In the World" (#19)
"For You" (#21)
"Voices of Babylon" (#25)
"Since You've Been Gone" (#31)

Lead singer Tony Lewis died in 2020 and guitarist/songwriter John Spinks died in 2014.

Great info Zoneboy. I didn't even who The Outfield were until my mother and I heard them on Pandora and she told me that Your Love was her favorite song and she would always sing it when she would be getting dressed for work every morning. Mom always liked listening to music and singing while getting dressed for work because it was fun. Did The Outfield try to make a comeback in the 90's?

Every time I listen to The Outfield's Your Love that song always reminds me of the no longer in business Circuit City because it sounds like a song you would hear in their commercials

I still hear Voices Of Babylon on the radio every now and then too.
