Default Wheel & Jeopardy! - Getting Boring?

Does anyone else out there think "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!" are getting dull? It seems they try to put a lot of different looks into the show, but it is still the same old thing.

Any theory on why they are still so popular?

A lot of old people like the shows!! My grandma's been gone since 1995, and part of her weekday routine was watching Wheel and Jeopardy after dinner and after the news. Alex Trebek, I heard, is thinking of retiring from Jeopardy, and who knows about Pat and Vanna. These people have been on these shows as long as I can remember!!

I don't find Jeopardy boring. It's still one of the best game shows on TV. To the person who posted the original, after a game show is on the air for quite a while, viewers do get bored and tired and the show eventually runs its course.

They've both run their course. Unfortuantely, a lot of people still watch them since they're the number 1 and 2 syndicated shows on television right now. Both will probably be on for at least 6 or 7 more years, and I"ll continue watch occasionally.

i lost interest in Wheel when i was about 20....I found it repetitive and childish

I still enjoy Jeopardy ( Which ive been watching since i was about 6 < the old Art Flemming version ), but, I hate any celeb weeks and I think they should go back to a 5 day limit on champions ( I nearly did stop watching for good when they had that same guy winning day after day for something like 3 months, I was SOOOOOOOOOOO sick of seeing that guy, and didnt come back to the show until he finally lost!!! ) ps. i just LOVE the new "Art Deco" set.....Art Deco is my favorite decor style, I collect AD antiques.

I've watched both Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy a lot, but I prefer Jeopardy over Wheel and they are both starting to get a bit boring for me.

"Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!"have remained good shows and sure beat watching those boring courtroom shows, and sleazy talk shows(yes,I am aware some people like them),and they've been changed a lot, and,(except for the shows with celebrities)are still entertaining.Hey,does anyone remember when the show (circa 1975 when Chuck Woolery was host)on NBC daytime ,was hourlong?(This is 100% true, but didn't last too long).

Haha, watching two idiots argue over nothing on court shows is entertaining when I'm extremely... extremely... EXTREMELY bored.
