Post Question On Making a CHICO Website

I'm working on my CHICO AND THE MAN/FREDDIE website & I have something I wondereing as to which way will work better. I figured maybe ya'll might know. I am wondering should I put the buttons listing the different sections of the site where you press on the buttons to go to each section-- Should I put that on my front opening page of the site or should I put it on Page 2 of the site>

If I put the buttons for the different section of the site on page 2 then you'd have to click on a START icon to get to poagfe 2 & different area of the site. If I have them on Page one that is much easier to access.

On the other hand if I have them on Page 2 instead of Page one, it would look much ncie.

So do I have the buttons on Page one but it don't look as nice but is easier to go to them. Or do I have the buttons on Page two which looks nicer but you'd habe to click on a START button to go to page to to get to them.

Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Cheryl,

I would put the buttons on page one, only because it would make it easier for the viewer. It would also let the viewer know what all you've got to choose from on your site right away...

But that's just my opinion. My Freddie website is the first and only one I've ever done, so my experience isn't as good as some others...hope this helps!

I like Croiter's site. Croiter put everything on page one. So did hillbilly - That way a person like me can choose.

Due to popular demand buttons on the front page it is. & If it looks kind cluttered oh well.

I won't be listing all the pages on the site on the front page as that's too much trouble & be even more cluttered. Instead I have buttons to each section on the site listed on the left.

To go to the site for the first time just hit start & then it takes ya to the first pages & you click on next to go to the next page & so on till ya get to the end. To go to each section just press on the button for that section. Then each of the pages are linked toe ach other, you just hit next to go to the next on & when that section is finished you hit next to go on to the next section or home to go back to the front page.

I don't know any computer code so this is all being done by drop & drag, copy & paste, templates etc & copying some computer code. I hope to have mine a little more different than some of the other sites since they are doing such a great job with their info & so you'll have something a bit different. I have fun copying pics of him off the next, saving the, & making copies of them & doctoring the copies to have neat effects.

I'll let everyone know when I'm done.
