Post how do I post a picture here?

I may be overanalyzing things again, but when I look at this picture of freddie and kathy together I see an honest, mellow dude and a shifty-eyed lady trying to hide what's on her mind.

I don't know how to post a picture here, so I am going to put it in my website under Whirlwind Romance. I'll also add some text when I get a chance.

Ciao kids!

Cool

Gee Croiter - it's so nice to get a male's
perspective of all of this! You're doing a super job with your web-site and your input is very interesting to say the least.
Please keep up the good job - you're making a lot of "freddie fans" very happy and keeping us very well informed!!!!!

I think the other freddie web-sites are super also, and I appreciate all the info and pictures. I just think it's great to see how a man interprets all of this CATM
stuff. Thank you ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see text only & no pics. Just wondering how I get the pics to come up?

I noticed in the E- Special his secretary seemed more upset about his death than Kathy did. Thought that was odd but then again she did break his sweet heart...

I hope this doesn't offend anybody, because I don't want to, but I'm actually surprised that few of the women here have spoken up for Kathy.

Maybe it's because you are all women, and you know women better than men do. Are any of you single?

Anyway, I enjoy reading all of your posts, even though I sometimes don't have time to reply much. I'm busy working a full-time job and collecting all this stuff on Freddie. I plan to write a few essays as well; I'd really like to create the definitive informational site on Freddie.

I downloaded a song from napster the other day that reminds me of Freddie. Here are some of the lyrics:

You can see all the stars
As you walk down Hollywood Boulevard.

Some that you recognize
Some that you hardly even heard of

People who worked and suffered
And struggled for fame.

Some who succeeded
And some who suffered in vain.

And those who are successful
Be always on your guard

Because success walks hand in hand
With failure
On Hollywood Boulevard

Celluloid heroes never feel any pain
And celluloid heroes never really die

Who does that songs? Words sound familiar...

I'm neither for or against Kathy. I mean I don't agree with how she divorced Freddie & broke his heart & wouldn't let him see the kid & feel she didn't do anything to help him but at the same time feel she did a good job in raising the son... So mixed emotions about her & wishing to be polite about her because... Freddie loved her so much!

Red face

I agree with Cheryl - Freddie did love his wife alot. Also she was a very pretty lady. They did make a nice couple. - Speaking as a mother with children of my own. I personally would have let Freddie see his young son even though I knew he had a drug problem but, I would've supervised Freddie or have someone there with Freddie & Jr. Freddie loved his son. Okay he had problems but, maybe by exposing his son to him something would've snapped in his brain to straighten up and get help. Freddie Jr. had Freddie's blood too! The reason I say this is because in my life I've had a similar experience like Kathy. Luckily the man didn't attempt suicide even though he would tell me over and over that he would do it one day. When you see pictures of Freddie with little Freddie Jr. you can see the love in Sr's eyes for his son. The last thing she should've done is take his son away from him. She should've had compassion for a sick individual. Especially that she had his baby. She should've remembered the love that they both had shared. They shared a beautiful child together. Sure she was angry but, he needed help not hurt!

Croiter - I don't think you are overanalyzing at all. Some people are better judges of character than others. I have read that you can tell a lot about people from viewing a picture. I don't want to say anything bad either about Kathy, since I'm sure she went through some extremely unpleasant times also. Wish we all knew more details. Croiter, I have enjoyed your site and think you are doing an excellent job in showcasing Freddie. Very tastefully done!!

Another thing I needed to point out Freddie Jr. was only 10 months old at the time. Too young to remember seeing his father in a drug induced stupor. As a child gets older they start to remember things about their childhood. 10 months is too young. I would've let Freddie enjoy being with his son!

This reminds me of a picture on Hillbilly's website of Kathy and Freddie. It seems to be a candid picture. Freddie is looking at Kathy so intently, but Kathy is not returning his gaze, and seems distracted by something else.

I have to agree with Jenny Lee. It's so sad she didn't try to help him. I see the pictures of her at the funeral all upset & think maybe she could've prevented that by just helping him instead of turning the dear thing away. She doesn't look so happy in the pic. I noticed in the E-special that Freddie secretary seems more upset about his death while she was so calm about it.

She talked like he was a latin lover & so sweet. If so I can't help but wonder why she left him? No one in their right mind would leave someone that cute LOL!

I remember reading somewhere yrs ago in the 70's & the reason he killed himself was that she divorced him & wouldn't let him see the son & divorcing him & leaving him & not letting him see the baby broke his heart. Poor thing from reading stuff on him I suspect he probably cried his sweet heart out. So sad...
