Okay, now i know you all think I'm already weird, but this is even more weirder (I feel like speaking Beaver today) of me to do!

So if you want to remember, or know, or feel like you're back in the LITB days as Wally or Beaver's age, here are some songs that were very popular during the series time!

1957-
Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On - Jerry Lee Lewis
Great Balls of Fire - Jerry Lee Lewis
School Day - Chuck Berry
I'm Walkin' - Fats Domino

1958-
Rock and Roll is Here to Stay - Danny and the Juniors
Tears on my Pillow - Little Anthony and the Imperials
High School Confidential - Jerry Lee Lewis
Willie and the Hand Jive - The Johnny Otis Show

1959-
There Goes My Baby - The Drifters
Teenager in Love - Bobby Darin
Dream Lover - Bobby Darin

1960-
Not very many that i found i liked...

1961-
Blue Moon - The Marcels
Will You Love Me Tomorrow? - The Shirells
Tossin' and Turnin' (I love this song! haha) - Bobby Lewis
There's a Moon out Tonight - Capris
Stand By Me - Ben E. King

Those of course aren't A LOT of songs, they are just the ones that I like and listen too. But i thought i'd bring you back into the late 50's early 60's again with my astonishing music hits!

For 1960 try:

Cathy's Clown - The Everly Brothers
Save the Last Dance for Me - The Drifters
Chaing Gang - Sam Cooke
Will You Love Me Tomorrow - The Shirelles
Everybody's Somebody's Fool - Connie Francis
Your Sixteen - Johnny Burnette

I found it very interesting that in the episode in which Beaver joins a record club, all of the titles and artists quoted were fictictious - at least I've never heard of any of them. There were so many really good things happening in rock music at the time, that it's a real pity they felt they had to make them up.
