Joe & Valerie Came 6 Years Too Early - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

This short lived disco themed sitcom that aired in 1978 and 1979 is so obscure epguides.com has not heard of it. I happened to come across its complete primetime directory listing on the way to The Joker's Wild. For such a limited run Joe & Valerie must have had problems behind the scenes as two of the roles were recast. Only cast member I recognized out of nine listed is Arlene Golonka. Someone named Char Fontaine played half of the title couple Valerie Sweetzer. Valerie Bertinelli could have played the part if it came in 1984 after One Day at a Time's announced final season.
