ok....i have a few fan fic ideas brewing in my head....and i just wanted to tell somebody. lol. i write slowly and i want to put down my ideas in writing (or typing...whatever) so that if by some chance, by the time i'm done with it somebody else has already written one with that idea....i have typed proof that i didn't steal the idea...it was mine first!!! all mine!!!
did you believe that? HA!!! no of course that's not the real reason. the real reason is because i want opinions, silly! (it's after midnight...i'm not sane) i'm currently working on a prof/ginger romance story.....that has turned into a prof/ginger / gilligan/mary ann romance story. it's rather complicated. i have two middle sections done that need to be connected and i still have to fix the whole beginning. but anyway...that's in the works. i think it'll be in sections...or else it'll be a novel. i have three other ideas in my head. the first one is a "castaway kids" thing. yes, i realize this has been done....but not the way i'm planning it. i got my inspiration from a book that mentioned part of an interview with bob denver where he said that they were talking about making a movie or something where gilligan marries mary ann and the professor marries ginger and they have kids and the kids grow up and want to see the island so they go out and lo and behold....they get stuck there just like their parents. but i'm going to have them have two kids each...and have the howells adopt two kids....and then have the skipper take on a new first mate (since his little buddy got married and all) and it'll be him there on the island. i don't know why....but i've got to stick with the whole 7 castaways thing. the second idea is an "evil twin" type of thing. the professor is going to be experimenting one day when something goes terribly wrong (haven't decided what yet) and he gets split into two: his good side and his bad side. so the good side sits and whimpers while the bad side is off reaking havoc (did i spell that right?). i've seen this done with other shows....everything from star trek to jackie chan adventures. the professor never got a chance to have a twin, get hit on the head and act like somebody else, or get amnesia and act totally unlike himself. the worst that happend to him was the zombie thing. big whoop. so now he's going to have a bad side. i think this ought to be fun and somewhat disturbing....since the professor has no evil bone in his body.....or so they think! ha ha! the third idea is a completely selfish one for myself. it's going to be a "what would happen if i somehow wound up on the island?" thing. how would they react to me? how could i change some things? (think "pleasantville" without all the sex). i'll maybe incorporate some of my friends in too. it'll be off the wall and totally not serious in the slightest bit. so what do ya'll think? i value the opinions of fellow writers, and those who just like to read the stuff. |

YAY! I love them ALL! lol. I would.
I've been stewing over a 'kids' thing for a while, but it's totally different than yours, so...yay! I'm SO excited about the one you're working on now. I'm totally not a romantic and usually am like "Ewww" when my mom watches the soaps...but somehow this show just brings it outta me. LOL! The evil twin thing sounds so cool! Ooh, the Prof reeking havoc -- I love it! (hadta add him 'cause...hey, it's a dancing banana. lol)

HOORAY FOR THE DANCING BANANA!!!! he's so cute. hee hee!
thanks! it's good to know that somebody is eagerly awaiting my story. makes me want to work faster and stuff. loli'm the exact opposite when it comes to romance! i'm a hopeless romantic and i love it when it's in stories. i usually don't like the really cheesy stuff though....for example...i'm a huge star wars fan....han and leia=good romance. anakin and padme=cheeseball city. (c'mon...."i don't like sand"....that's terrible!). but i love watching romance stuff when it's nice. sweet stuff.....cute stuff....not like "hey we just met....wanna come over tonight and stay?" NO! that's just wrong. lol. i never used to be like this....i don't know what happend. but hey....i don't like soaps either. not my cup of tea. (hee hee! i said "cup of tea!") yes! the professor's evil side will be terrible! all the bad parts of his mind that he keeps hidden will come out. lol. i'm already planning something with ginger.....but we won't go there now. it's a surprise. heh heh heh. |

Good, I hope I'm making you work faster!!
Yeah, it depends on what it is if I'm a romantic or not: Soaps = No. Sickening. Mr. Deeds = ADORABLE movie! I love Longfellow Deeds! Three's Company, when Jack's all sweet to the girls = **melt** GI = hell, yes. LOL. Adorable stuff is so cute, when it's not overdone or cheesy. Love cuteness. hehe. (I had to.)

i haven't seen mr. deeds yet.....now i have to!!
yeah....as much of a girl-crazy, hormone-crazed guy as jack is....he still has a really sweet side. i love it when he gets all protective of them. awwwww! i so agree that jack and janet would have been a cute couple. i have to be in the right mood for romance movies though....most of the time i'm more of an action fan with the theory that "if nothing blows up....it's not worth watching." but i love mushy stuff that just makes me feel all.....mushy. some of my other favorite romance movies are "while you were sleeping" (so cute!), "sabrina" (even with the whole "he's old enough to be her father....ew!" thing....it's still really cute!), and i thought "runaway bride" was really good too. i like movies where there isn't an immediate attraction between the two characters....they have to "discover" it. |

Uh, ahem. **tentatively raises her hand**
I was rereading this...'cause I'm bored...and I was reading your thingy about the "what would happen if i ended up on the island" thingy...and you were talking about maybe including some of your friends, perhaps...and I wanted to know if you'd put me in?? **grins sweetly** ((We could play matchmaker. Ooohhh.)) I know you're still all caught up in the first one (WHICH I DESPERATELY NEED TO READ...SOON!), which is cool. So, yeah, when you get around to the rest of your stories....I'm excited. OKBYE! |

**gasp** You deleted from the recycle bin!! Never delete from the recycle bin until you're positive it's ok! **dies** I still have crap in the recycle bin I'm scared to delete...and I KNOW they're in my folder.
**dies** Well, do you, like, *remember* the story?! Word for word, cute thing for cute thing? My huge GI fic got deleted once...but I found the backup copy that Word made automatically...but I guess that's hardly the same situation. **sigh** |

i know...i know....it was one of the stupidest things i've ever done. but yeah....i remember most of it pretty much word for word (and cute thing for cute thing
)....it's just going to be finding the time to type it all out. i was in a state of shock too. but (i know this is going to sound crazy) i think it might be a blessing in disguise. because before, i wrote the middle first and some of the stuff wasn't fitting and was kind of...choppy. so now it's going to flow much better and will probably be overall improved. i was up pretty late last night working on it....i have a lot of the beginning done and i'm remembering it pretty well. so this is a good thing. i still can't believe i did that though.

Good good. Yeah, I was thinking about how that could be kind of a good thing hidden in there. The flow will come back since you're writing it in order now. And you might think of some new little thingys to put in.
ANYways, keep typing, keep remembering (take your ginko biloba. hee), and keep on keeping on. (I needed a third thing...so sue me). I'm in a weird mood...don't mind me. The only way to make me sane again is to let me read some story! **dies** |

LOL! if i still had the whole thing....i'd give you a preview. but...as of now there's nothing preview-worthy. but uh....how about a brief synopsis?
gilligan is out checking the lobster traps when he sees a headhunter....he goes and tells the skipper, the professor, and mr. howell.....they decide to keep it secret from the women so they don't panic (riiiiiight)......ginger overhears talking and knows they're up to something, so of course she's going to use her "powers" to find out what. she can't get gilligan alone....but she spies the professor making weapons to be prepared in case of an attack....and decides to try it on him. he gets nervous....but doesn't spill....(*background memories thinking flashback type thing stuff*...it's a month after erika tiffany-smith and "the kiss" and they're both thinking about each other in a new way...but each is convinced that the other doesn't feel the same and that the kiss just made everything awkward)....so her "seduction" fails because he knows it's not real and he just doesn't think it's right....or something like that....but he tells her anyway because he thinks she should know. then they have a cute little pretend fight type thing *insert giggling here* and things take a new turn in the jungle (not telling the good part...heh heh)......and so then there's dinner....mary ann and gilligan have a tiny cute scene (nothing really good)....gilligan is confused about stuff (new thoughts in his mind....hmmmm).....he tries to get the skipper to explain the birds and the bees to him (cause he never got around to doing that).....and um.....i won't tell anymore cause it'll give away the ending and stuff. but of course you know they're gonna wind up together and the headhunters won't kill any of them. lol. ok....that wasn't exactly "brief".....but i'm sure you don't mind too much. |

{{{I didn't read all that in-depth cause I'm at my friend's house and she's all talking to me about cows or something. Soooo.....yeah, I'll reread when I get home. But, yeah, sounds awesome!}}} Okay, so it's the next day now...and I reread. YAY! Write, write, WRITE! Sounds sooo sweet. **dies** |

Okay, I'm bumping this up because...frankly...I need another section of this story. You sent me some before and I need another fix. LOL. I know you at least got past dinner...which means you got past the whole G/P jungle thing so.... I have to see Skipper try to explain the birds and the bees. LOL! Or get all irritated and NOT explain it. Oh, Skip...
Wanna send me some more? Pleeeeease? Hee. |
