Why did Bill Murray make the movie Larger Than Life? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have never figured out why Bill Murray made the 1997 movie Larger Than Life and I had never even heard of this movie until my father rented it for my family to watch. When I saw Larger Than Life I felt that it was unappealing and too kiddie. And Bill Murray's character getting an elephant and trying to return it to it's home just seemed out of place for the movie's storyline. The only reason I think Bill Murray even chose to do this movie was to see how successful he could be in kids movies and you can see why Larger Than Life failed in theaters

The latest movie with Bill Murray I like is 'What Abot Bob?' (1991)
