Kaye was found dead Monday alongside husband Thomas Deluca in their Los Angeles home after police performed a welfare check. They were found dead four days after police were called to their home Thursday after neighbors reported a suspect trying to break in. Kaye worked on Idol's first season, returning for Seasons 8 through 21. She also worked on Lip Sync Battle.

Raymond Boodarian, the 22-year-old suspect accused of killing American Idol music supervisor Robin Kaye and her musician husband Thomas Deluca, allegedly fatally shot the couple with their own gun that he found while burglarizing their home. Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said that the man accused of the killings allegedly shot the victims with their own gun before calling the police himself from his own cellphone.

Suspect in killing of American Idol music supervisor Robin Kaye put on suicide watch

A judge delayed the arraignment of Raymond Boodarian, the 22-year-old who allegedly killed Kaye and her husband Thomas Deluca in their Encino home, because he's allegedly suicidal.
