We should all pool our money and buy the rights to all 9 seasons of The Facts Of Life. then we could do what ever we wanted to with them. Have FOL marathons, put all the eps on dvd so we don't have to worry about screwing up a VHS from constant rewinding and fast forwarding. i think it would be cool! but like i said, that is a crazy idea.
What would you do if you owned the rights to The Facts Of Life?

I doubt it, networks can buy the rights to the show, but not everybody can own the rights and go off and play all the episode they want, so I don't think it would happen, I think as time progresses maybe some network will air the show, or a company might release it on DVD.

lol..besides, there's real problems with a lot of people owning ONE thing, no one can ever agree on what to do with it!!

I think until one of y'all becomes the next Bill Gates, we are at the mercy of the networks. I do wish someone would have the good sense to put all the shows on DVD. With VHS you always have the worry of your VCR going berzerk and eating your tape. Plus, DVD would take up alot less space. Anyway, it was a nice thought. I'd personally love to own the show.

apparently some of you didn't understand that i meant it as a joke. i don't think we should actually buy the rights to FOL, it's just cool to think about. Geez, lighten up yall. It's called a daydream, you can even call it a fantasy if you want to, but i didn't mean we should seriously do it. dang, don't you ever just think about stuff and say to yourself "if only" or "i wish"

It's just PRETEND.
