Default Season 6 at WNYX

If "NewsRadio" had gone on for a sixth season, Dave and Matthew would have gone to New Hampshire, and the gang would have been together. But what if it stayed at WNYX. What would you picture as a good cast?

Dave Foley (News Director)
Andy Dick (Reporter)
Andy Richter (Anchorman)
Thomas Haden Church (Billionaire)
Sabrina Lloyd (Producer)
Kevin James (Electrician)
Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (Secretery)
Will Friedle (Intern)

I can picture him as a younger version of Mr. James. Maybe he could have been Jimmy's long-lost son.

It was his role as Ned Dorsey, that I thought he would make a good billionaire to replace Mr. James.

The reason I put Tiffani-Amber Theissan, was to reprise her role as Foxy, who was in love with Dave. Now that it's a few months later, I really don't like the idea.

Of course, Season seven, I probably would have replaced Matthew with Chris Elliott or someone. I just kept him in the cast since he was there in the finale.

I can't imagine NR ever being set in New Hampshire. I think maybe a couple characters would return from New Hampshire, or maybe the show would be set ahead a couple years in the future..Jimmy buys back the station Dave's there with other new employees & new relationships, maybe Beth would return with him. Lisa would probably come back because she did stress that she wouldn't be gone from WNYX forever & that she definitely intended on returning to the station one day.

I my self could have pictured newsradio set in new hampshire... I think it would have given it a colourful twist in atmosphere. I often wonder like many of us what season 6 would have brought to the table. A man can only dream.

My Spin On Season 6>>>>>>>>>

Matthew-Ya know what Dave??? I'm get ya some coffee.
how do ya take it???

Dave-Hot and Black?!?!?

Matthew-How about cold with little thingies floating on top?

OK PAUSE IT RIGHT THERE>>>>>>>>>

MY TAKE>>>>>>>>>>>>

Dave-Matthew what the hell are you doing here?

Matthew-I don't know, one minute I was resting my eyes and I guess I must have dozed off.

Dave-(Sighing heavily)

Matthew-I guess they forgot about me.

Dave-They forgot about you, well that is outragious.

Matthew-I Know. Whoe would have thought?

What should they next???????????

A)Follow the others to New Hamshire
B)Stay at WNYX and plan it's future

I think that dave would have caved in (due to matthews presence) and went to new hamshire.

I like the idea of role playing:

I think we should do more of it on this board.
