Does anyone remember a show called "Bowling for Dollars. It was on during the 1970's. It was on weekdays in New York City at 7:30 PM on WWOR which was then WOR TV Channel 9. Larry Kenny was the host most of the time. I think Mets broadcaster Bob Murphy also hosted from time to time. It was something like Jackpot Bowling. The Jackpot started out at 500. You needed at least 2 Strikes in a row, or $50 would be added to the Jackpot. I can't remember what the prize was for 3 strikes in a row. But 4 strikes in a row, won the contestant a car. There would be 7 contestants, on each show. I seem to remember that Channel 9 would have 2 people bowl, then have a commerical, another 2 people bowl followed by a commerical, still another 2 people bowl followed by a commerical, and then the 7th and final bowler. Does anyone else remember the show?
