Due to dulling over the past year, the pencil's tip undergoes a yearly "sharpening" ritual. This event has grown into a vibrant community celebration, featuring musical performances and large crowds. The owners of LOTI Pencil in Minneapolis are hosting a party for their annual sharpening event on Saturday.
