I wonder how Jimmy Walker felt at the time about Esther Rolle (and John Amos) trashing his JJ character in the paper and TV interviews. Jimmy have said that during the show run, he never kept contact or socialized with Esther or John, and that might be one of the reasons he didn't talk to them off the stage.

Im sure he knew thats probably why he didnt talk to them off set
