This Day In Hollywood June 23 1980 "David Letterman Show" debuts on NBC-TV daytime
45 years ago today. This I did not watch. If I had daytime TV on back then it was either a game show or a sitcom.

I don't have any memory of watching it because I was just a kid. I've seen some episodes and segments on YouTube. He wasn't very well suited for the morning. I guess it was a little too edgy for morning viewers.
He carried over some features like Stupid Pet Tricks, Small Town News, and Viewer Mail.
