Post Happy Bellday to Fredo

Just to let you know that I'm going to say happy birthday to Freddie on his birthday (June 22nd, 2001)> I'll say Hi to all of you, and if I learn how to post pictures on the message board, I'll be able to post you the pictures of the people I find that day over there. wish me luck. I know spanish, so they cannot play the -"I don't speak English" thing. they will answer me any how, or tell me to go to hell (mandarme pal' cara') Wish me luck. Your friend Rose

Are ya going on a trip or something like Mexico or Puerto Rico? If so have fun! I've been to both places-- PuertoRico 1972 & Mexico 1984. Have fun! I get to celebrate my birthday same month as Freddie!

(Spelling errors LOL!)

I do wish you much luck on your trip. That is cool to be near on his birthday!! Are you going to the gravesite, Puerto Rico or Mexico? In either case, I hope you: have a safe and pleasant trip, take some nice pictures, and fill us in upon your return. I am sending flowers to the gravesite for his birthday.

How do you send flowers to the grave? I'd like to find a silk rose real cheap & send that to the gravesite. Sadly, I can't afford anymore than that but it's the thought that counts...

Sad

No, Unfortunately I'm not going to Puerto Rico untill december. Thanks for the beautifull things you have said about my island. I love your beutifull country too and love to be here. To clear that up, where I'm going is to the grave site at Lawn Memorial Hills to send some flowers. For the ones who want to know how to send flowers for that day or any day, you have to contact the Lawn Memorial Hills (Hollywood Hills) and get the phone of the flower shop of the place.. Sorry!, I try to play happy about this visit but I feel sad now.

You can contact any florist and they will deliver flowers to the gravesite. As far as the silk flower or anything else that is not deliverable from a retail establishment, I will be going to Freddie's gravesite on his birthday and will be happy to leave whatever you would like to be placed there. The rules of the cemetary are pretty strict and most anything but flowers will be removed usually within three days or so. Also, Freddie's crypt is pretty much near the middle of the wall and setting things down in front really isn't possible...you have to kind of hang it from the permanent flower vases on either side. Let me know if you would like me to carry anything with me for you.

You can get a good idea of what his crypt looks like. I've got several pictures of the gravesite at www.prinze-sr.cityslide.com

Just scroll down to the bottom of the homepage...

Say, maybe I could buy a silk flower somewher cheap & mail it to ya & you could put it there when ya go. Just let me know when ya go. My e-mail is cherylharrell@yahoo.nospam.com. (I have a spam blocker inserted in it) . Maybe I could print up a nice picture of him & attach to the flower. I didn't know if they alllowed anything else on the graves but I don't have the $$$ to buy anything elses anyway. Sound's like it'll be an interesting but sad trip.

Puerto Rico was fun! I went with my folks there on vacation that yr & we went to the Virgin Islands. That was in 72 before Chico. I had a nice. My folks have some old pics floating around of me up there in bellbottoms. We went to Europe the next yr. The next yr were we were back to a good old USA vacation going to Myrtle Beach.

Our boy would be 47 on his birthday! I bet he would still be handsome. Probably a little bit heavier, not fat, but bigger. Maybe his hair would have a little silver if he didn't dye it

Tony Orlando was 10 years older than Freddie and he doesn't look too bad for a 57 year old (at least on the VH1 special.

I wouldn't have recognized Isacc Ruiz, though, from the picture on Croiter's website. He was 8 years older than Freddie.

I guess one of the bittersweet things about our Freddie is that he is eternally 22 and always will be "LOOKING GOOD!"
