Mine is ‘Hurricane’, the story of the real life arrest of boxer Rubin Carter

Here’s the story

Hurricane — Bob Dylan’s howl of protest still resonates today

Oh yeah. Of course. I know this well! God bless Bob for calling this unjustness to attention in his song writing .

One of my favorites too !

Yeah, basically all of Bob's songs are good. You can't go wrong with a Greatest hits selection.

It was so long you had to flip over the 45 in the middle of it (kids, ask your grandparents about 45’s)

Paul McCartney picks:

Mr Tambourine Man

(Bringing It All Back Home, 1965)

As selected by Paul McCartney

“I know it’s corny, but I heard him do it at the Albert Hall [May 9, 1965], and I was aching for him to do it and knowing Dylan I thought he might not do it. Just to be awkward, just to be perverse. It was the infamous show where all the folkies thought he’d sold out. How crap is that? It was fantastic. First half is folky, and then the second half was electric with The Band - it was the all-time concert. But then of course, somebody starts going, He’s deserted the folk world! Yeah, no wonder, look at you mate. So he did it there, the first time I’d ever heard it live. A really good song, very much of the period. Totally nailed that year. I was lucky to be there.”

You can buy Bob’s first NYC apartment

Bob Dylan’s first NYC building lists for $8.25M — the singer’s humble 1-bedroom rented for just $60/month in the 1960s

I had read that on Yahoo. WOW!! Out of curiosity , I googled what 60 dollars in the early 60's would be equivalent to today. It is 650 or a little higher ( I forget exactly)? But wow, just wow ! Where in NY city could you get a one bedroom apt. for that price now? Out here in LA either . Not even a studio or just renting a room.

No wonder why so many people are homeless nowadays . Rents are WAY to high! It's sad !
