R.I.P. Harris Yulin
Not a name I recognized. But he earned an Emmy nomination for outstanding guest actor in a comedy series on Frasier, guest starring as mobster Jerome Belasco on season 3, episode 15 "A Word to the Wiseguy". Niles asks a wise guy to help fix Maris's parking ticket problem. Harris Yulin lost out that year to Tim Conway, who won an Emmy for his first of two appearances on Coach.

I'm pretty sure the episode is "inspired" by Dick van Dyke Show's "Big Max Calvada" episode, with Yulin playing an erudite gangster a la Sheldon Leonard. RIP
