Some 1950s sitcom episodes with stereotypical stay-at-home wives were written by working women, including several segments of Leave It To Beaver.

Dorothy Cooper aka Dorothy Cooper Foote wrote over 30 episodes of Father Knows Best. She may have written several more, since some older episodes have wrong credits in syndication.

As for Leave it to Beaver, Peggy Chantler wrote an episode, as did someone named Lydia Nathan. Katherine Eunson and Mathilde Ferro were part of husband-wife writing teams.
