I got the first 4 volumes of the I Love Lucy DVD that was released (each had 4 episodes, including the pilot episode)
Does anyone know when they will release the next DVD? |

If they carry on the way they've been going so far, expect volumes five and six sometime in December. I wish they'd hurry up though! I can't find anything on the Paramount web site, or anywhere else on the Net.

They were waiting for the sales results and now that they know they were a hit, there's talk that starting with season two, they will be put out season by season as the other shows like Friends do!

I'd rather get them one disc at a time to be honest. I know it costs more in the long run, but it's less of an outlay. If I can't get them from my usual R1 retailer over the internet, which often happens with box sets, I'll have to buy them from somewhere like Amazon.Com and then spend a fortune on import duty. So I'd definitely prefer single discs to box sets!

You're absolutely right about the cost factor Mickey, but some of us are excited about the prospect because all these other lesser shows are out season by season, and we never get Lucy that way!

I'm sure they'll include it. After all, they've being putting 'not seen since 1951' bits on the discs so far. Be a long wait though, won't it?

I never even thought about the Christmas show. I've always wanted to see it and now that you mentioned it they better have it on the DVD or else...
