I was listening to my copy of the Valley Girl soundtrack and found the song Don't Put Another Dime In The Jukebox that was sung by The Flirts and I wondered why The Flirts didn't become popular? Did The Flirts make their debut on the Valley Girl soundtrack or they have other hits prior to Don't Put Another Dime In The Jukebox?

How did The Flirts get their start? And what was their first ever hit?. I think Don't Put Another Dime In The Jukebox is a cool song. Did they disband shortly as well?

I never heard of The Flirts until I heard Don't Put Another Dime In The Jukebox and they had an upbeat sound and I wondered why The Flirts never became big in the 80's
