Exclamation Time Change...

Just a reminder that Daylight Savings Time kicked in over the weekend, so some of us have different viewing times now. Be aware if you are taping episodes (like I am!!!).

If you have a cheapo vcr like I do (got it for 42 dollars), even if you have your shows preprogrammed at the correct time, you still have to change the clock back. I found that out today. Instead I got shows that came on one hour earlier. I doesn't make sense, but if your vcr doesn't change time by itself, then you gotta go back and do it yourself.

Exclamation

I thought that this thread had to do with the show changing time on Lifetime. I noticed a commercial for The Nanny that said it would be coming on at 6:00 PM. That has me worried now...

Maybe we all better start taping every episode! (I'm sure some of us have everyone on tape). I've been so used to the show being on all the time, I never thought to tape them. They could pull the plug on the show at any minute and there's nothing we could do about it! I just hope they don't put The Nanny on 7 times a day.

As someone who took The Golden Girls being on TV for granted back in the 80's-early 90's, I'd encourage everyone to tape the show whilst you can because you'll never know when it will be gone. In the UK we had about 7 years without the GG's. I regretted not taping the show but like everyone else I just assumed they'd always be around. This year all 180 episodes were shown on LivingTV in the UK and I made sure I taped each and every one!! I think the GG's is one of Lifetimes most popular shows so I don't think it would be removed completely but you never can tell, or they could significantly reduce the amount of airtime the show gets which would make taping all episodes take that much longer.

That's good to know that you have all the episodes taped, Sam! If the show is removed from Lifetime's schedule, I'll be able to watch the show when I visit you in England! (It was great to hear from you again, BTW!!!)

LOL, I'm absolutely counting on it, Michael! Just make sure you bring a pair of fluffy bunny slippers and I'll provide the cheesecake and the Golden Girls marathon
