I can't think of a single sitcom where the outside of the house matches the inside, so, I get that is a normal thing. I think the Cunningham house, however, has to be one of the most unrealistic starting in season 3.

Was the kitchen door supposed to be the back door, even though it was in the same direction as the front door? Is that supposed to be the same door where the garage is that we saw in earlier seasons? Can you imagine what that would look like from the outside? I guess the garage sits in front of the house?

I wonder why matching the inside of a house with the outside was never considered important by the producers?
