Yeah, she was his first real love interest when he moved to Calif. apparently, tho, he was more interested in her because of whose daughter she was. She was also slightly overweight

I asked everyone on the message a while back if they knew anything about Freddie and Kitty Bruce but no one responded. I'm really very interested in knowing about their relationship. Let me know more about the book please Hillbilly! Also, was she the girl that Freddie almost committed suicide over before? What's the name of the book/article? What did she look like, etc.
Thanks!!!!!!!

Red face

I think Freddie dated Kitty when he moved to California. He dated her most likely because she was Lenny Bruce's daughter. I remember they went out for some months.

The PB article also quoted David Brenner as saying that Freddie carried a leaf from a tree in the yard of Lenny Bruce and Freddie supposedly told Brenner that it was Lenny.... How true that is, I don't know....But it seems really wierd...

That is strange. There was an old lady who used to live on my block who claimed her cat was her deceased husband. So people say all kinds of crazy things.

Hey Ed,
I have similar neighbors...two nuggets shy of a happy meal...not the sharpest knives in the drawer...not the brightest crayons in the box...

I guess thats what happens to you when you get older like over 55. All the old people i ever knew where all crazy some in good ways and some in bad. I guess i cant figure out the connection between old people and cats.
I had a friend whose grandmother put his cat in the dryer for no reason. No Joke for real. My grandmother was always doing crazy stuff like going out and leaving the stove or oven or telling me my parents found me in a paperbag.

Yeah, I've worked in a nursing home with the elderly for 10 years, and let me tell ya, I've seen about everything! I love old people-that job is so rewarding! The episode of CATM where Chice arranges Ed to go to a retirement center is hilarious! The retirement center they depict would be neat to be at when your'e old, but how many of them are really like that??
