The ACT test & other stuff that happened today. - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Did any of you take the ACT test today, or have you ever taken it? I took that test today & when we were leaving, I was standing next to my friend's car waiting for her to come outta the school, & I guess this one guy was eager to get home & he peels out of the parking-lot. Well, I hear something & that guy had hit the guide wire that was holding up a power pole, & instead of pulling out to the left, he pops it in reverse & gets the front tire caught on the wire & keeps going!!! Well, the pole is shaking back & forth b/c the tire is pulling the wire & I've never seen a power pole sway like that & some friends & me are like OMG, & then sparks starting shooting out of the power lines. Of course I'm like "AHHHHHHHH WE'RE GONNA DIE!!!" I'm afraid the lines are gonna break & be zipping around, so I'm trying to haul ass outta there. Everyone else is gawking LOL. The police came & got his blazer off of the wire, but he just about took the damn pole w/ him!

Omg...! that's scary stuff. I'd be outta there so fast. I'm glad that nobody got hurt.

LOL Emily, I took the ACT yesterday too. It was hard! Especially the reading test. I dunno if you had teh same ACT as we did here, but it was just long and I was so tired when I got home!

It sux taking a test on Saturday morning! We had 4 tests & I thought the science reasoning was hard! I'd never heard of any of that stuff probably b/c I go to a really good school (sarcasam) so I guessed on it. The reading passages on the reading section were really long too. I hope I score over an 18 & not have to take it anymore!!!!

Yea I know! LOL The first time I took it I got a 19. I hated it!!! Cause I needed at least a 22 to get into the college of my choice. I took a couple practice ACT's and got a 23 on that, so I'm hoping I get a better grade.
