Happy Days had the best series ending. It ended with Joanie and Chachie getting married and Mr. Cunningham breaking the fourth wall saying "Thank you for Happy Days." That was good ending. Laverne and Shirley went out with a wimper with Laverne all alone and Carmine almost had his own spin off. Mork and Mindy got stuck in time with no way back. It's a shame for L&S and M&M but Happy Days stayed consistent to the end and had the better ending.

I do agree that the Happy Days ending was the best of the three Garry Marshall shows when Tom Bosley broke the fourth wall and made a toast after Joanie and Chachi got married. Both Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy we're going downhill and Happy Days decided to end its run after being beaten by The A-Team in the ratings. Marshall and the Happy days cast felt the show had run its course so that, to me was the right way to end the show.

The Odd Couple, of course, had a much neater ending than any of these by tying up the one storyline that was central to the show.

The other 2 were cancelled so it was not planned ending. HD was able to last 11 years and plan real finale
