At the time Disney Channel had converted itself to a kids and teens channel I seem to think Disney Channel had competition with Nickelodeon when it came to launching careers of new and upcoming stars? Take for instance Disney Channel had Hilary Duff and Kyle Massey and Lindsay Lohan and Nickelodeon had Victoria Justice and Miranda Cogsgrove and Leon Thomas and Ariana Grande and it tells me that Nickelodeon and Disney were rivals when it came to marketing teen stars. It then showed that during every Kids Choice Awards on Nickelodeon that nearly every single winner of Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards was a Disney Channel star. Like Miley Cyrus won Favorite TV Actress and The Jonas Brothers winning Favorite Male Music Group and it tells me that Nickelodeon was trying to steal Disney's thunder when it came to teen stars. Just like Disney Channel had Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus Nickelodeon had Victorious with Victoria Justice and like Lizzie McGuire was a hit for Disney Channel with Hilary Duff Nickelodeon had ICarly with Miranda Cogsgrove and you could see how well Disney and Nickelodeon were big in terms of teen stars. But when stars like young rap artist That Girl Lay Lay and Daniela Monet became stars of Nickelodeon Disney Channel had slipped into third place and started focusing on stars such as Raven-Symone Lucas Gabreel Jenna Ortega Corbin Bleu and the late Cameron Boyce Nickelodeon couldn't keep up with new stars so they focused on teen pop singers and groups. But I think Nickelodeon is jealous of Disney that they want badly their own line of teen stars
