Do they? Because they've been airing it for a year and a half and they've only been showing eps from February-November 1984.

http://tvgameshows.net/faqaug.htm http://tvgameshows.net/faqsept.htm Also according to Beverly, they also do not have the infamous Michael Larson episodes. http://tvgameshows.net/faqoct.htm |

They only own about 200 episodes which they claim include the Michael Larson episodes, but since they have never aired them, I'm beginning to believe Beverly.

They gotta have them all. Including episodes from 1983, 1985 and 1986. Even the pilot episode. And in case you don't know, when USA reran the show, they did not have the Larsen episodes. They stopped airing it on USA 6 years ago.

Ummm....no, they don't have them all. Else we'd be seeing them. Unless they just VERY recently got the rights to the others.

Believe what TV Favorites is telling you. GSN only has the rights to about 200 PYL episodes, and those are from 1984. Apparently the show does not get high enough ratings for GSN to aquire more episodes.

So PYL doesn't get high enough ratings GSN to buy the whole series but did get high enough ratings for a revival? Well, that makes a whole lot of sense.

From what I've heard, the revival's ratings aren't very good regularly. I've heard rumors that the original PYL's ratings are better than the new one. It barely squeaked by for a 2nd season renewal. Notice how late the annoucement came of the renewal. Of the three big originals right now (Whammy, FoF, and Russian Roulette), Whammy appeared first, yet was the last to be renewed and relaunched with new episodes (won't happen until December 9 I believe.)
