Sad Episodes without Freddie

How are the episodes without Freddie? I can't bear to watch them because I get choked up. I saw the first one without Freddie and it was just to much..... There was no tribute or anything. He deserved to be acknowleged... How could they have overlooked giving him a mention. They really hurted the fans...... You have to remember that Freddie was a huge star back then similar to Britney Spears today.... When he died it broke all our hearts.........

Yes, this mornings episode was so sad. Everything reminded me of Chico, Della syaing CHico was in Mexico but he's not, he's never coming back & Seeing Chico's friend Salvadore without Chico. I'm still watching but it's sad.

This morning while MY FAVORITE MARTIAN was on & just before CHICO came on there was an ad for CATM the one they've been playing where it goes Chicos got Charisma Etc & he does the little dog inte the window etc... & it said at the end of the ad coming up next. I thought FALSE ADVERTISING LOL cuz Chico isn't in todays episode. I noticed in that ad that in one clip of him they show he is wearing a red t-shirt with some sort of picture on it. Ya know how in the 70's they had the t-shirts with the pictures of famous stars on them. My hubby has a red t-shirt just like that except ti had a pic of Elvis on it. COOL! I wonder what picture was on the front of Freddies shirt. If it was Elvis double cool cuz it means him & my hubby had the assme shirt...

I just counted the episodes on my schedule
Peko and there are 24 more before they start over again. At five shows a week that means
we have about 4 1/2 more weeks of "no Chico"!
I hope by the time they start showing them over again, they're on prime time or at least a better time slot.

i am taping the episodes without freddie. it is hard to watch them. we have a ways to go to get back to the begining with freddie. it is a shame that there was no tribute to freddie. it is a shame that they kept the same show title "chico and the man", they should have changed the shows title. and they should have changed the song too because the song is to chico. freddie deserved a tribute because he was the one that made the show and the one that everyone loved to watch.

I'd heard there was a scene like that in there but it had been so many yrs since I saw it until the marathon. I don't recall that scene being in todays episode unless maybe they edited it out.

Freddie Alert! They just showed a CATM ad with him in it on TVLAND during MY FAVORITE MARTIAN (another good show). I ran to the TV to tape it but got so excited I didn't engage the record button in all the way & probably didn't get it all. Yikes! Still false advertising when they said next cuz Freddie ain't gonna be on there today.
