I'm confused. Why didn't they have a bigger send-off for Rhoda when she moved to New York at the end of the fourth season? "Lou's Second Date" is the last episode she appears in (good episode BTW, but doesn't mention anything about her leaving) and then all of a sudden in the next couple episodes they just casually mention how she's now living in New York.
It also seems odd that they made that episode "Rhoda Morgenstern: Minneapolis to New York" a year prior and had Rhoda almost move to NY and then end up staying because she couldn't stand to leave her friends. What made her suddenly able to leave Minneapolis a year later? It seems like it would have made a lot more sense to have that be her last episode (not saying I didn't enjoy her around for an extra year though!) because it was a really nice, touching, reminiscent (sp?) episode between her and Mary and everyone. Hmmm...strange.
