AT&T Double-0 Info commercial from 1999 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In 1999 AT&T launched an information directory service called AT&T Double-0 Info and to honor it's launch a commercial was made. This new "at the time" service enabled people to look up phone numbers for places such as restaurants and more all by pressing the 0 key twice on their touch tone phones hence the name Double-0 Info and was instantly connected to an operator who helped find the correct numbers and names of places and they even connected you to the place for free. Despite a success AT&T discontinued this service in 2004 but when you see the commercial you'll understand how easy this information system was to use. The commercial also used the classic song Magic which was a hit for the group Pilot in the 70's

Yes I loved AT&T.............. They just said 00 I think cause thats how ya got AT&T easily...... 1 zero was for your local operator and 00 was AT&T
