Cindyana Santangelo, a model and actress who appeared in episodes of "ER" and "Married… with Children", has died at 58.

According to an advisory from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, authorities responded to a medical emergency call on Westlake Boulevard, in Malibu on Monday at approximately 7:15 p.m. Paramedics transported the patient to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

TMZ, who broke the news of Santangelo's death, reported that authorities later learned that the actress had recently received cosmetic shots at her home. The investigation is ongoing, with cause of death yet to be undetermined and an autopsy is pending.




Born Cindy Lehrer in 1967 in New York City, Santangelo was raised in Los Angeles, where she began her career as a dancer, appearing in various music videos throughout the '80s and '90s, including Young MC’s “Bust a Move.”

She also provided the Spanish introduction to "Stop," the Jane's Addiction track that led frontman Perry Farrell to describe her as “the Latin Marilyn Monroe.”

Cindyana went on to appear on "Married… with Children" as dancer Sierra Madre, before making brief appearances on "ER", and "CSI: Miami".
