I been binge watching 1950s crime dramas most half hour free shows on Youtube.
Currently watching Hollywood Off Beat - a lawyer that got disbar turn private detective early 1950s and San Francisco Beat aka The Line Up around late 1950s story of two police detectives investigating crime in 1950s San Francisco. I was always been a fan of 1950s detectives shows like Richard Diamond starring David Jannsen, M Squad starring Lee Marvin, Ray Chandler’s Philip Marlowe, Highway Patrol, Mr. and Mrs. North and 1st Mike Hammer starring Darren MaGavin. There are literally 50 plus different noir shows on YouTube now! If you have interest in old time noir crime dramas, check it out! |

Tons of 1930s-2025 movies are on YouTube! Many of the 1930s and later have been updated since the original being shot in 35mm film. Others have been run through AI enhanced software to be 4K and looks and sound like 2025 movies of today! A few have added in color to the black and white original film. All are free!
Lots of recent Russian and Chinese war drama too! If you have a recent 4K or 8K high end big screen 100”+, you will see fantastic images as well as sound! 4th generation OLED and now the new TriChroma LED TV and MicroLED TV with built-in AI are slowly coming to marketplace from China to the North America marketplace. Still pricey but wait 3 years and everything cheap again. Still can buy the current technology and get it reasonable dirt cheap but limited to 98” screen size but still looks pretty good to me still my last TV was 2nd generation LG OLED 77”! Move it into my workout room. Future high end screens will be QDEL (Quantum Dot Electroluminescence)! Only the very rich and those in Hollywood that are directors, producers, studio heads have them now! Hoping the people who done the upgrades on movies, will do the old TV series down the road too! |
