Cool Mariah Carey Is Awesome

Yes...Glitter may have been stupid, but Mariah Carey is the best female singer of today. Her new song released [forgot the name] was so dramatic and beautiful...I almost cried. Give her the Lifetime Acheivement Award right now before I kill everyone!!!!

u mean "Through the Rain"....and yes it's a wonderful song. It's alot better than that stupid Loverboy song to me....and yes, Glitter was stupid. But I like most mariah songs. My favorite song by her is "I Still Believe" wher she dresses up like Marilyn Monroe, who's like her idol, and does everything to be like her,and "Heartbreaker" "Honey" and I love "Butterfly"!

As you can tell by my siggy, I love Mariah. I usually don't like that pop crap but she is one good singer. I love her songs, and her voice is just so strong...."Hero" is one of my favorite songs of all time

And yes...... Glitter was highly stupid

Okay, I must be Out of Whack but, I liked the movie Glitter. I liked the CD Glitter and I became a Mariah fan because of the CD and the movie. I have a son who's NUTS about Mariah since she first came out and I never really cared for her. But, now I've become a fan.

She WAS awesome.

Her music, and her voice has gone down the gutter. I hope Charmbracelet changes my view on Mariah Carey.

What was wrong with "Glitter"? I liked that movie, she should continue acting and singing. Yes, I downloaded her song "Through The Rain" about a week ago and I love it she's very talented.

It really wasn't that Glitter was bad...I just didn't really like it. Mariah gave a good performance, but her male co-star, and the rest of the supporting cast was just terrible. The only other good cast member was the woman who played her black nightclub singing mother. The sountrack was hit-or-miss...it really didn't contain any thrilling songs. The ending was rushed, and the beginning was trying to be dark and dramatic, and came off unintentionally funny. I would give it a C/C- as a grade.

I don't really like her kind of music, but I dont see why everyone says she has a good voice. I think she DID before she want wacko, but I just saw her new video, all she does is scream at the top of her lungs. Its irratating.

Well....although Mariah may not be coming up with as great material has before, but the woman can still sing. Same with Billy Joel, Liza Minelli, Michael Jackson....they can all sing! And Liza...WOAH....what a voice!
