Default Fannie Flagg or Rose Marie

Which one you like better in Dick Van Dyke's workplace? My choice is Fannie Flagg. She was naturally funny and her character was a lot warmer than Rose Marie's.

No I disagree, I like Rose Marie best. She really was one of the boys, really a trendbreaking tv character. She was as good as Rob and Buddy and held her own with them. Fannie is good too, But I'll take Sally.

I was never a Rose Marie fan, at least I didn't care for her character on "The Dick Van Dyke Show." I didn't mind her on "Hollywood Squares," but Sally on DVD I found annoying. Fannie Flagg, on the other hand, I've always loved. There were several scenes she did on "The New DVD Show" that I thought were hilarious. Rose Marie never made me laugh, but Fannie did. I also loved her on "Match Game" and "Candid Camera" (ever see her in that stunt sitting at the bar in a diner with that hat with the huge feather?). And "Fried Green Tomatoes" was another great example of her brilliant humor.

I had no idea Fannie Flagg was on the New Dick Van Dyke Show! (Then again, I never saw the show...) But, yes, Fannie was hysterical on Match Game (I am obsessed with the show, so I might be a bit biased ) so I am sure that she would do a marvelous job. Does anyone know if they're showing the NDVD show anywhere in re-runs?? Now I am interested in seeing it.

I thought Rose Marie was wonderful on the old DVD show...as Chuck T said:

....and i concur, on the other hand, i've never really cared for Fannie Flagg.

Rose Marie. Fannie was okay, but Rose was better.
