I think Time-Life Music really knew that they would have competition with the WOW series of Christian Music collections so I think with the Songs For Worship series this was Time-Life's answer to the WOW series. I remember when the Songs For Worship commercial came out I was amazed at how good this collection was and putting the top artists of Christian music was a smart thing to do and you could also discover new artists just by listening to this collection. It's no secret why the Songs For Worship series is still going strong today with commercials for different collections such as Songs For Worship Gospel Songs For Worship Country and Songs For Worship Christmas and I think Time-Life Music really knew what they were doing with this wonderful collection
