Post Jack Albertson on Gunsmoke

I wanted to know if anyone caught him on an old episode of Gunsmoke last friday afternoon on TVLand. Im not a Gunsmoke fan but i was flipping threw the channels and saw him it was pretty funny cause he was like homeless or something and this old lady took him in and the minute she turned her back he grabbed her bottle of booze and drank it.

He was in an Evis Movie called KISSING COUSINS. My hubby has that movie. I think he plays an old hillbilly man. It's funny.

Question

Wasn't Jack Albertson also in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, or am I remembering someone else?

Thumbs up

Yes, he played Grandpa Joe. That was my favorite movie back when it came out, and I introduced my daughters to it last year. I have always been a big Gene Wilder fan also.

Did anyone know he was also in an episode of I Love Lucy? He was in the episode where Lucy and the gang take off for Europe. He played the helicopter dispatcher. I don't remember it myself, but I recently read it in a book so now I'm going to have to go back and look.

Another Jack sighting: He was on the Gong Show as one of the judges. (1976 or 77) Also, wasn't he on stage at the Academy Awards show in 1969 with Barbra Streisand? (when she was wearing the infamous see-thru, polka-dot, bell-bottom get-up!)

Yes its very strange to see him without Chico all throughout this episode today i was expecting to hear Jack start yelling Chico,Chico and for Freddie to come running out. But you can see the sadness in Jacks face.
