Default The DEFINING Play of ALL 59 Super Bowls

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-fi8GsLZMI

Quote:
This video is a reupload. The NFL/YouTube decided to get cute and drop some copyright notices on me weeks after it was released. I've had problems in the past with videos that heavily use Super Bowl clips, but this one looked like it was safe. Silly, naive little me.

Naturally, as soon as I fixed the issue, they let me know about another one, then another one, then another one, instead of, yanno, just letting me know them all at once. It got to where the video was essentially going to be edited out of existence. It's all very frustrating and I've been left with a sour taste in my mouth.

The video clips from the original have been replaced by still images. I have gotten complaints from a small minority of people when video clips are not used, but I will not kowtow to this tiny percentage at the expense of monetization. This will only be the case moving forward when lots of Super Bowl video will be needed. All other videos will continue to make use of video clips where warranted and where monetization will not be compromised.

Thank you, all.

It all began after the 1966 NFL and AFL season. In what would become the premier football game of the year, nay, the premier event of any kind of the year, the first Super Bowl was played. There have now been 59 Super Bowls.

Where most TV shows have that one defining episode, and most movies have that one defining line, so too do many football games have that one defining play, which naturally includes the Super Bowl. We will be pointing out that one defining play in all 59 of them.

No C-Score being used here, this is just a subjective opinion, but out of sheer habit, we're gonna leave our regular C-Score explanation right here. Enjoy!

Explanation of C-Score:

C-Score is a metric created by this channel to assign an overall value to a football team. It takes a team's:

-Results, including standard and Pythagorean W-L record
-Performance, including game control and play-by-play production
-Quality of opponents, specifically performance level against opponents

and distills all of that into one cumulative and comparative score reflecting the context of the season in question. When applicable, a team's playoff performance is also included.

A C-Score of 0 represents an average football team, whereas anything above 0 represents an above average team and anything below 0 represents a below average team.

A team's record is important, but not always indicative of C-Score. An 11-5 team can rate higher than a 13-3 team or lower than a 9-7 team. Not all records are created equally.

This year's Super Bowl had NO "defining play." It was an absolute thrashing, right from the very beginning!
